VILLA "LE LAC" LE CORBUSIER AND LAVAUX
Discover the Lavaux vineyard, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape
2 hr2 hrChemin de Pierreval
Service Description
The Lavaux Vineyard Terraces, stretching for about 30 km along the south-facing northern shores of Lake Geneva from the Chateau de Chillon to the eastern outskirts of Lausanne in the Vaud region, cover the lower slopes of the mountainside between the villages and the lake. The awarding of UNESCO World Heritage status to the vineyard in 2007 is due to several factors, particularly the countless terraces overlooking Lake Geneva and the fact that the buildings blend in well with the landscape.
